Account and Google sign-in

Clerk manages account creation, email verification and sign-in for this kit. If you choose Google sign-in, Clerk receives your Google account identifier, email address and basic profile information, such as your name and profile picture when Google provides them. These are the basic sign-in permissions: openid, email and profile.

We use that information through Clerk to create and authenticate your kit account, recognize you on return visits and support account-access requests. The kit does not request access to Gmail messages, Google Drive files, contacts or calendars. Google sign-in is optional; you can use the email-code sign-in option instead.

Our kit database stores a stable Clerk account identifier to connect your purchase to your account. It does not copy your Google profile or store your Google password. A matching email address or a copied receipt does not by itself transfer a purchase to another account.

Checkout and purchase records

Stripe collects and processes the payment and billing information you enter at its checkout. We do not receive or store your full card number or security code. Stripe may process device and transaction information to authenticate payments and prevent fraud.

To deliver the kit and keep access accurate, our database stores your kit account identifier, checkout reference, offer and price, checkout timestamps, Stripe session and payment references, purchase status, and refund or dispute status. We also store processed payment-event identifiers to prevent duplicate delivery and verification-attempt counts to limit abuse. The server checks Stripe payment details against the expected offer before granting access.

If a payment is made from an expired checkout reference, we keep a recovery record linked to the original kit account. It includes the payment and checkout references, the reason for review, pending or recovered status, relevant timestamps and the offer used for recovery. This lets the original account resolve access without paying again; it does not transfer ownership to whoever has the link.

Practice notes and downloaded files

The free answer exercise runs in your browser. Its notes are not sent to our server or saved by the site; they disappear when you refresh or leave unless you download or copy them. Reader practice and editable worksheets are not uploaded to us, sent to an AI service or synced between devices by this kit.

Files you download are stored wherever you save them. We cannot delete those copies from your device or from another service you choose to use. Avoid putting confidential customer or employer information into an example you plan to share.

Cookies and technical information

Clerk uses cookies and related browser storage to keep you signed in and protect the sign-in flow. The site also uses a temporary session-storage timestamp to prevent repeated sign-in redirects. Signing out ends access from that session; it does not delete the account or purchase record.

Cloudflare hosts the website and database. Cloudflare, Clerk and Stripe may process technical information such as IP address, browser or device details, timestamps and security events to provide their services. Our application does not log payment payloads, passwords, session tokens or API keys. The kit currently has no advertising pixels or site analytics trackers.

Who processes information

These services may process information outside your country. Their policies explain their own handling of that information. If you email support, your message and any receipt you include are handled through our support mailbox to answer your request. Do not send card details, passwords or sign-in codes.

We do not sell your account information or use Google sign-in data for advertising. We use and share it only as described here to operate sign-in, deliver purchased access, provide support and protect the service. Information may also need to be retained or disclosed where required by law or to address fraud or a payment dispute.

Retention and deletion

Account and purchase records are retained as needed to maintain purchased access, provide support, prevent duplicate or fraudulent claims, and meet applicable payment, recordkeeping or legal requirements. Checkout expiry is not an automatic deletion date for its record. Signing out, receiving a refund or disconnecting Google does not automatically erase those records.

To request access to, correction of or deletion of your information, email contact@roadmapengine.ai. Tell us which kit account you used; please do not include your password or card number. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Account deletion can remove your ability to return to the online library. Some transaction or security records may need to be retained for the reasons above; we will explain any such limitation when handling your request.

You can remove Google’s connection to this app in your Google Account connections. That prevents further access through that connection, but does not by itself delete information already held in Clerk or our purchase records. Contact us if you also want those records reviewed for deletion.
